Kindred Midwifery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Delivering change.

We are a Brisbane based private practice, providing access to both midwives and obstetricians as primary care providers, with a personalised service designed around clinical needs, personal preferences and priorities. This means you can choose to have your care with either our team of midwives or one of the doctors, but we work together to tailor your care according to what is important to you.

Kindred is a journey with people you trust. From before pregnancy to early life as a family, we’re with you.
We provide 24 hour access to a midwife and doctor you know, including labour and birth care at Mater Mothers Private Hospital.

Kindred Midwifery is a team-based midwifery continuity model. Our team provides complete care during pregnancy, unique one-on-one care with a known midwife during labour and birth, and comprehensive postnatal support. Kindred Midwifery are the only private practice midwives to provide labour and birth care at Mater.

Obstetric care at Kindred includes expert care with an obstetrician of your choice throughout pregnancy and birth, with an innovative model of midwifery support during pregnancy and especially during the postnatal period.

At Kindred, we are building a community for families to access the support that is important to them during their journey to parenthood. We are not just here for pregnancy and to be present at your birth - we are here for your family, every step of the way.
